Still life self project #2

The still life self project beginning to come together. I struggled with the detail and trying use realistic colors. I liked the freedom of the project. 

Beginning of self acrylic project

First ideas being put on canvas. I used several images to create this interesting scene

Not final stage of self project. Has been challenging so far to get detail. 

Painting shoe

For this project we used acrylic paint to try to picture our school shoes. This was supposed to be an intro in this type of painting. I learned many skills to use on future projects; I learned that you should a light and dark brush as well as a blender. 

Final Still Life

This is the final version of my still life self portrait. I used color pencils. I learned alot and think I definitely used the skills I learned in future projects.
I really liked the freedom given and the oppurtuinity to describe myself through a still life.

I decided to take art to follow my interests and become a better artisit.

Shading drawing with both white and black colors. Trying to create light and dark. 

Beginings of Pencil Art

First draft of Pencil drawing. It was difficult to portray the 3d dimensions of the object. I liked how much it taught me about drawing with pencil, it also influenced my final draft.
